Bakery Makes Star Wars Gold With Bread Replica of Han Solo
Bakery Makes Star Wars Gold With Bread Replica of Han Solo.
This might be the coolest carbs I have ever wanted to ingest. Not so long ago in a city far, far away…
The Jedi of “One House Bakery” had a vision of The Force. Catherine Pervan and her daughter Hannalee Pervan, decided to recreate Han Solo’s Carbonite-frozen form from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Here’s one of the best parts of the story… They called it, “Pan Solo.”
God, I hope they make mini versions of the bread and ship it across the galaxy because this Star Wars nerd needs some of that!
The amazing bread creation is their submission for a contest called the 15th Benicia Scarecrow Contest. I’m not sure how much of a contest it will be. Who can top this?!
Star Wars Theme:
In fact, If I were them I would make the whole darn bakery Star Wars Themed.
You could have Chewbacca Churros or a Darth Vader Danish! How about some Mos Eisley Muffins?
Baby Yoda Bunt Cakes anyone? Oh! What about those Cinnamon Rolls Princess Leia wears on her head?! I can do this all day.
According to the New York Times, it’s not the first time the Bakery has made pop culture gold.
They created Game of Scones in 2018, with a bread White Walker standing next to a baguette-topped iron throne.
Other Bread Replicas:
In 2020, after being inspired by the TV show “The Mandalorian,” they created the “Pain-dough-lorian,” who wore armor made of bread, “Baby Dough-Da,” who was dressed in bread and “floating” in mixing bowls, and “the Pandroid,” which was constructed of pans and kitchenware. I for one am looking forward to seeing what they are going to do next. I wonder if they serve breakfast? Light Saber Sausage? Maybe?
Gotta love these guys. May the force be with them.
