Humpback Whale Swallows A Kayaker Before Spitting Him Back Out

Watch as a humpback whale swallows a kayaker before spitting him back out! Thankfully, he wasn't dinner that day!

Safe to say that would have been a horrifying experience! I guess he's lucky it was a humpback whale and not an orca or something that wouldn't have minded turning him into a snack. This is everyone's nightmare when they go out on the open water like that. It doesn't matter if you're in a kayak or a boat, you're probably wondering what would happen if a whale jumped up onto your boat or came at you. It would be a scary thought! Now, it was this guy's reality who was kayaking in waters off the Chilean coast it sounds like. Watch the viral video where a humpback whale swallows a kayaker below. Can you imagine witnessing this or having it happen to you? I think I'm going to stay off the water for a bit, thank you.

How crazy is that? He was in the whale's mouth for a few seconds! Thankfully, it quickly realized that he wasn't food and spit him out and he was all good! As you can see in the video, he's also thankful that it wasn't an orca whale that got him because they call them "killer whales" for a reason. It would not have been as friendly as the humpback whale.

This is definitely one of the craziest videos I've seen in a while. While it's a natural fear of it happening, you never expect it to actually end up becoming a reality! What are the chances of that happening? Incredibly slim. It looks like he's alright and barely appeared to be bothered by the incident in his interview in that video. I'd be traumatized! I'd be a different man after getting swallowed by a whale. Now, he has a crazy story to tell for the rest of his life and a wild video to go along with it.
