Florida Vanity Plates That Were Rejected In 2024

Ever wonder what vanity plates were rejected in Florida last year? Wonder no more! The list has been released!

Florida has to be one of the most unique states in the country. "Alabama Man" stories aren't popular and neither are "New York Man" nor "Colorado Man." No, it's always "Florida Man" stories that seem to get the most attention. Is there something in the water? Who knows what it might be but the state of Florida is home of some real characters. That can be seen with any viral Florida Man story or in what the citizens and drivers of Florida tried to request for their vanity plates. Now, unfortunately, all of these were rejected but I still have to give them credit for trying. It's the effort that counts, right?

We recently talked about some of the rejected vanity plates in the state of Kentucky on Dave & Chuck The Freak and there were some good ones worth checking out. However, I have to go into this believing that Florida will have better rejected vanity plates than Kentucky or any other state you choose to put up against it.

Props to Local 10 for putting this list together and finding some of the best of the best when it comes to rejected vanity plates in the state of Florida. Some of the most noticeable and noteworthy vanity plates rejected in Florida in 2024 include: "IAM DUI" it's easy to understand why that would be rejected. The question is why would anyone want that on their license plate? You don't want to bring any attention to that, you would think. "FBI FED" is another one. I can appreciate the effort on that one. Might be able to get other drivers to get out of your way using that as a vanity plate. You'd be in charge on the roads. "P00P BUT" and "W1ENER" also made the list, according to the list curated by Local 10. According to Local 10, "FARTZ," "HAH WTF," and "P00R AF" were all rejected as well.

It's really a bummer that they're so strict with all of these. In my humble opinion, if it's a blatant swear word it shouldn't be allowed but if it's hidden or you need to de-code it, then it should be allowed. Some of these aren't offensive at least on face value. I'd like to see more people use vanity plates and have funny license plates. It would make for a better driving experience and could give you something to do on road trips or long drives while still focusing on the road and paying attention. What do you think?
