Time to celebrate everyone!
Governor Desantis just signed a bill on Thursday that will make Alcohol To Go a permanent option in the state of Florida.
The bill was originally introduced last year to help restaurants that were struggling during the covid lockdown. It was so successful that restaurants were lobbying to keep it permanently.
The bill has a few restrictions. Restaurants will only be able to have this as an option if over 51% of their revenue is from food and non-alcoholic sales.
