Man threatens former employer with a pipe and Twisted Tea
Twisted Tea has become a symbol of justice after a video went viral of an African American man cracking a man over the head with one over his use of the “N” word.
But in the case of Shane Gillis of Charlotte County, the Twisted Tea was used as a symbol of intimidation.
Gillis is accused of threatening his former employer with a deadly weapon. When police arrived on the scene, Gillis was holding the Twisted Tea in his right hand, and his left hand was behind his back. Police found a metal pipe tucked in his jeans.
Even as he was being arrested, he was still threatening his former employer. He was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
