A random hookup between two strangers ends in theft in a North Fort Myers parking lot.
On Jan. 12, two strangers who met on a dating app met up at the Arby's at 13050 N Cleveland Avenue. They then left there to go to an abandoned parking lot nearby to have sex.
After they finished romping around in the car, the woman stepped out to put her clothes on. The man then grabbed her Galaxy J3 phone (valued at around $300) and drove off, leaving her behind.
A group of homeless people witnessed the man driving away. She was able to get to a 7-11 to dial 911.
The suspect's description has not been released.
