Fort Myers Mom Arrested For DUI After Hit And Run
Fort Myers Beach, Fl- The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident in the Pierview Hotel’s parking lot after a woman hit three cars with her minivan.
Lauren Wilson was the driver of the minivan and had her two kids, ages 7 and 3, with her in the car.
Police managed to stop her at Mango Street and Estero Boulevard and once she exited the car, they noticed her swaying back and forth and repeatedly closing her eyes.
Witnesses reported seeing her enter The Salty Crab with her two children. After leaving, she backed up into an SUV, she put the car in drive and hit a truck, and then she put the car in reverse one more time hitting a different SUV.
She was also in possession of two dime bags, one filled with .14 grams and the other filled with .23 grams of cocaine. They also found a spoon with cocaine residue and two syringes on her.
She was arrested for DUI, moving traffic violation with an expired license for over six months, DUI property damage, moving traffic violation for driving with a suspended license, hit and run, drug possession, and having drug equipment.
