More details have emerged from the police shootout with two home invasion suspects at I-75 and Alico Rd. on Tuesday night.
Travis Rains and Jordan Gurke were both taken to the hospital after they were apprehended by the Lee County Sheriff's Department.
One of the men, Travis Rain, was released and booked in the Lee County jail and according to his arrest report, he has been released from jail.
According to Jordan Gurke's brother, he was shot and is in stable condition and the family had no idea what hospital he was in.
Gurke was booked yesterday according to his arrest report and is still in custody.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office has not provided any more details at this time.
Russell Park, a Lee County Sheriff's Office spokesman said, "We will not be commenting further on this case, and any additional updates will be released via a press release."
