The Italian restaurant, Two Meatballs in the Kitchen, is set to open its first Collier County location at 9010 Bellaire Bay Drive. The restaurant will move into the 5,400-square-foot space where The Warehouse Cuisine and Cocktails operated until it closed on March 19, 2025.
Franco Russo, who co-owns the restaurant, is planning a quick three-month renovation with few changes. The space will keep its current layout, including 150 seats and the existing bar setup.
“We are excited about it. It's a great market and obviously a good building,” Russo said to Gulf Shore Business. “I really do love the space and the building and the location and the restaurants around us that do well. I think it's a good next step for Two Meatballs.”
After opening in Fort Myers in 2008, Two Meatballs added a Cape Coral spot in 2020. This Naples location will be their third restaurant in Southwest Florida.
The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. for lunch, with dinner service beginning at 3 p.m. Happy hour runs from noon to 6 p.m.
The menu features 15 pasta dishes, chicken, seafood, and veal. Their most popular dish, Mama's Pasta, features savory sausage, homemade meatballs, crispy pancetta, and fresh peas in a creamy sauce. Their signature meatballs mix veal, pork, and beef meats served in a fresh tomato sauce.
The Warehouse property was sold in March 2025 for an undisclosed price after being listed for $3.1 million. Located north of Immokalee Road and east of Collier Boulevard, the spot is in an expanding restaurant area. The new restaurant is open to hiring former Warehouse employees but understands if they can't wait for the Two Meatballs opening.
