A Florida woman has been accused of holding up a Dairy Queen at gunpoint. Reports say she only ended up stealing $1.50!

That's less than a Blizzard! I don't know what you can get these days for only $1.50 but it's safe to say her attempted robbery was not worth it. This is not a heist that you'll see in a movie one day or anything like that. 44-year-old Allison Fetting was reportedly already in custody when she was charged in connection with the armed robbery that took police say happened back in February of 2024 at a Dairy Queen in Coconut Creek, Florida, per People. Now, she'll be facing more charges after previously being held in custody on other armed robbery and drug possession charges. Following the botched robbery attempt, she was allegedly only able to get away with $1.50 that she took from the tip jar, per People. You can see her mugshot provided by the Broward County Sheriff's Office below.

Did A Florida Woman Only Get $1.50 After Holding Up A Dairy Queen?

Reports say Fetting failed to gain access to the Dairy Queen's cash register during the incident. Coconut Creek police released a statement on social media that you can read below. It alleges that Fetting walked into the Dairy Queen, showed an employee a gun, and demanded money.

Sounds like she's no stranger to run-ins with the law. People reports that she previously served a 3-year sentence in 2003 on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and battery on an officer.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
