Sick Child, Treatment at Home
The 25th Annual Island Celebration, hosted by SanCap Cares, will be at The Community House on Sanibel on March 28. This special event supports the new Surgery Center at Golisano Children's Hospital.
Beginning at 5 p.m., guests will enjoy four fun-filled hours taking part in a Give-to-Give auction for needed medical equipment. The money raised will build a modern surgery center featuring four operating rooms plus two dedicated endoscopy suites.
By moving 80% of children's outpatient procedures from HealthPark Medical Center to the new facility, kids will get treated much faster. The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is leading sponsorship efforts, with Kasey and Brendan Albright serving as the event's honorary chairs.
"Our 25th-anniversary event is more than a celebration; it's a commitment to the future of quality healthcare in Southwest Florida," said Valerie Tutor, SanCap Cares Committee Member, to Captiva Sanibel.
The event has raised over $18 million since 2001, thanks to strong community support.
Get your tickets on the event website by March 25.
