Famous Monument With Massive Member Now In Terrible Condition

A famous tourist attraction of a giant monument with a massive member has been deemed "ruined" by visitors. It goes to show if you don't use it, you lose it.

Tourists appear quite upset after they've recently checked out the famous monument with the massive member known as the Cerne Abbas Giant. Or, at least, what once was a massive member. It seems like he might be a bit stressed out these days. Remember, fellas, it happens to the best of us--famous attractions included.

Lately, tourists who have gone to seen the iconic Cerne Abbas Giant, who his known for his enormous dangling participle, have left in disappointment. It's not necessarily the size that they're disappointed with, it's more of how it's presented. Nowadays, it appears that overgrown grass is hiding his famed appendage from sight. It looks like it's time for a bit of manscaping.

According to The Sun, the ancient chalk figure of a naked man has been on the Dorset countryside for centuries. However, it's barely visible right now and The National Trust that maintains the site blamed an "Exceptionally wet summer" for the overgrowth that is disappointing the masses, per The Sun. At this point they're saying it's barely visible! That's going to be an issue when it could be bringing in tourists and thus money. That has people calling on The Trust to do something about it and trim him back to his former self that everyone loved oh so much.

Efforts are apparently being taken to help bring him back to life. The Sun reports that a flock of sheep was released on the protected hillside to help out and limit grass growth. However, it might be too late. Word of disappointment has already gotten out and has been spreading on social media, and nobody wants to go when there's word of being disappointed!

A project like that takes a lot of work, but it sounds like they're actively working on a solution that will make the famous tourist attraction more attractive and will bring the people back to gaze in amazement (or jealously, depending on who's doing the viewing). Very disappointing! I see why they're complaining. It would be a major let down if that was part of your vacation itinerary and you went all the way out to see it and that's what you were treated to. Definitely a major let down. Hopefully, it will look closer to the picture on the left again very soon.
