Man Gets DUI Driving A Lawn Mower Down Highway

A man in Georgia got a DUI driving a lawn mower down a highway! Riding a lawn mower on the highway is sure to get you some attention, so it's probably best to do it sober (if you're going to do it at all).

In fact, it's probably best you're not holding a beer and drinking it while you're on the lawn mower on the highway! That's one of the many mistakes he made in this story. Here's more on the trending news story below!

According to WSB-TV, Oconee County deputies stopped Willie Laguines, 64, when they observed him driving a lawn mower on Highway 186. Reports say officers saw him put down a black can from his mouth as he steered the lawn mower off of the road. When asked where he was going, he told police he was trying to get home after leaving Golden Pantry.

Officers discovered a bag with some beer at his feet in the lawn mower. He claimed to have only had one beer, per WSB-TV. He has since been charged with DUI, an open container, and a low-speed vehicle violation and was booked into the Oconee County Jail, per WSB-TV.

You may not know it, but, yes, you can get a DUI driving a lawn mower. Unfortunately, Willie learned that the hard way. However, you can learn from Willie's example so it doesn't have to happen to you first-hand.

Willie should have known better! He's not the first person to make news headlines for getting a DUI driving a lawn mower. It has happened countless times over the years, and stories like that tend to end up making the news! Check out the video below showing it happen to a man in Florida!

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn't), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren't a matter of life or death. There's no ethics quiz here, or any matters of 'would you steal bread to support your family?' These crimes, and criminals, aren't straight up cringeworthy.

While all of these crimes are crazy and certainly cringeworthy, they also make for excellent conversation pieces. That's why I've gone and found five examples of the wildest stories that Dave and Chuck the Freak have talked about and made a list highlighting the best of the best.
