When it comes to dating, I recommend just going out. Maybe your favorite bar in Fort Myers. It may just be safer. Take this Florida dude, Gabriel Luciano. He swipes right on some Grindr shenanigans, ends up at a guy’s place, and the next thing you know… Dude gets drugged, robbed, and blackmailed.
Now, I’m all about living on the edge, pushing boundaries. Can’t we just have a normal hookup without turning it into a full-blown crime scene?
According to WFLA, Luciano’s mixing drinks that taste like danger, and the poor guy is out cold. The Grindr victim wakes up hours later, and boom! Thousands of dollars gone, like poof, Houdini style. And there’s a note too. “If you so much as talk about this morning… I will ruin your life.” Dang, I thought my hangovers were bad.

Then there’s this genius move of hacking bank accounts, emails, and phones. You gotta appreciate the crooks’ dedication to being a villain. But thankfully, he gets caught. Luciano ends up in court, does the whole bond dance, and he’s out ready to swipe right again. Can ya believe that?!
We live in a world where a simple date can ruin your life. Makes you wonder, are we too trusting? Life’s a gamble, but maybe it’s time to be a bit more cautious with our bets.

It’s a super sad and serious occasion where people are mourning and trying to cope with loss. Also, not the time to try and spark a romantic connection. It would be so awkward and totally disrespectful to everyone there. First dates are supposed to be fun and light-hearted, not filled with grief and sorrow. On a Reddit thread, a woman recounted an awkward experience she had while attending a funeral with a date. Expressing her discomfort, she wrote, “God rest your soul Grandpa Jack but if I’m ever introduced somewhere as a ‘special friend’ ever again I’m gonna unalive myself.” YIKES!

While supporting children’s sports is admirable, this setting may not be the best for getting to know each other. Why not splurge a little and go for a major league game or a minor league event instead? It could be way more fun and exciting. Sure, it sounds classic, but think about it. You’re sitting in the dark, not talking, and trying to get to know each other while silently munching on popcorn. There’s zero chance for meaningful conversation or bonding. Plus, you can’t gauge each other’s reactions to the movie, which could be a bit awkward if one of you hates it and the other loves it. From my own experience, just know that it’s a challenge trying to get to know someone while a movie is blaring sonic booms and people around you are constantly munching their popcorn and obnoxiously slurping their drinks.
