1 Dead After Shooting At Florida ‘Guns Down Gloves Up’ Boxing Event

The name of the event was ‘Guns Down, Gloves Up’ but some people at the Florida boxing event Saturday night in didn’t care after a shooting broke out leaving 1 person dead and 4 others injured.

Police were called to a parking lot in St. Pete with an outdoor boxing ring set up with over 200 people.

Two groups started to argue and fight when several shots were fired. 21 year-old Trevon Barton died from his injuries and four other people also had gunshot injuries.

Police said so far, one person has been arrested, 21-year-old Robert Cooley. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm in public.
