Florida Man Tries To Trade In Stolen Car
A Florida Man was arrested after he tried to trade in a stolen car.
50 year-old Timothy Wolfe of Columbia County was at Lake City Chrysler Dodge Ram on Monday to trade in a vehicle for a new one. When employees checked the VIN number, they realized the potential trade-in was actually a car that had been stolen from them a few days prior.
WCJB reports that Wolfe did admit to stealing the vehicle. He was arrested and now faces charges of grand theft auto, dealing in stolen property and criminal mischief.
