This had to be an insane situation to watch being played out.

A 25-year-old Florida man was arrested last weekend after firing at two police cars after they were called about an "unstable" man in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Boca Raton.

According to an affidavit, Kyle Raymond fired 13 rounds from a handgun from the balcony down the street, hitting one of the car's tires and the other's roof. He also fired shots from a rifle into one of the cars.

One officer wrote that Raymond thought someone poisoned him and that he was being controlled in a video game. Another office said that Raymond thought he was inside a game “similar to ‘Grand Theft Auto.’”

Online jail records reveal Raymond was charged with with two counts of first-degree attempted murder of law enforcement officers and unlawful discharging of a firearm.
