Southwest Airlines Flies Odd Checked Item To Tampa

Of all the times I’ve flown, I’ve never seen anything quite like this..
Southwest Airlines has a “2 bags fly free” policy and one student took advantage of that and checked a strange item to win bet.
WFLA reports that Sydney Fowls was flying from Columbus to Tampa and checked a pool noodle after her family bet her $20 she wouldn’t do it. Well, she did and the video has now gone viral on TikTok.
Even better, once Southwest found out about the video and the bet, they joined the game as well. Southwest Air gave Sydney a pool noodle branded with the Southwest Air logo at Tampa International Airport.
