"Who the hell is that guy?" Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff -- a.k.a. the Black Widow -- asks about her opponent in the new Black Widow trailer. If her adversary's fighting style seems a bit like Captain America's, complete with a bulletproof shield, there's a good reason for that.
No, it's not a rogue Steve Rogers. It's the Taskmaster, a villain with "photographic reflexes": in other words, he can reproduce any action that he sees. So, he can watch Cap, Clint Barton, Natasha or anyone else, and emulate their fighting style.
Andy Park, Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, revealed the "big bad" in a tweet last year.
Black Widow opens in theaters on May 1.
