05-28-2019 – Douche of the Day
For today’s Douche of the Day we travel to Crooked River Ranch, Oregon where I’ll introduce you to 34-year-old Jeremy Hotha Thomas.
Jeremy was arrested over the weekend after a fight with his step-father turned into a domestic disturbance.
Jeremy and his stepdaddy got into an argument, which led to Jeremy pointing a gun at his father and firing at him.
Jeremy missed, and fled the scene of the crime before authorities arrived with his girlfriend and their 3-year-old child.
Three hours later, a tow truck driver responding to a dead battery call. State troopers assisted the tow truck, and with guns drawn, deputies and troopers approached the car and found Jeremy without incident.
Jeremy’s girlfriend and child were uninjured, and a loaded handgun was found inside the car.
Authorities figured out the car’s battery wasn’t dead. Jeremy was driving low on fuel when he pulled over, went into a barn and stole a gas can. He filled the can with diesel from a larger fuel tank, and then put it in his car. His car became disabled once he tried to start it.
Thomas was charged with menacing, pointing a firearm at another, unlawful use of a weapon, second degree burglary, third degree theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
