In honor of his birthday, here are 10 Bush songs that are guaranteed to make you want to rock out.
1. "Glycerine"
This is arguably one of their most popular songs. Of course, we needed to start the list with this rocking hit.
2. "Machinehead"
Also off their Sixteen Stone album, the Machinehead music video feature Gavin’s dog Winston.
3. "Everything Zen"
Does anyone remember when this song was parodied on Bill Nye the Science Guy? We do!
4. "Swallowed"
This tune was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 1998 Grammy Awards.
5. "Little Things"
"Little Things" was the second single off of their debut album, Sixteen Stone.
6. "Greedy Fly"
According to Archive Copy, the building that appears in the music video is also in Se7en. The entire shoot cost almost a half a million dollars.
7. "Mouth"
This tune is from Bush’s second album, Razorblade Suitcase.
8. "The People That We Love"
Believe it or not, the song was originally called “Speed Kills” but was changed because it sounded a little too insensitive.
9. "Comedown"
Next to "Glycerine," "Comedown" is another Bush’s greatest hits.
10. "The Chemicals Between Us"
According to the blog One Second Bush, Gavin stated that this song was about the “differences and distances between people.”
