Foo Fighters kicked off its North American tour this weekend, joined by several guest stars on Saturday (October 7) at Cal Jam '17 in San Bernardino, Calif.

The group's headlining set featured a rendition of the Beatles' "Come Together" with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, who held a lyric sheet and dove into the crowd toward the end of the song. Perry also played Aerosmith's "Drawn The Line" with the Foos, while British pop star Rick Astley reprised the mash-up of his "Never Gonna Give You Up" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" that he and the Foos did a couple of times in Europe during the summer.

Alison Mosshart of the Kills and Dead Weather and saxophonist Dave Koz joined the Foos for "La Dee Da" from the group's new album, Concrete And Gold, and the Foos paid tribute to the late Tom Petty, showing his image on the video screen as the group played its hit "My Hero."

The Foos next play on Thursday (October 12) at a special show opening a new venue called The Anthem in Foos founder Dave Grohl's home town of Washington, D.C.
