…Because Nikki Sixx Needed ANOTHER Job
Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx has a new gig.
Sixx is joining the Canadian singing competition TV show The Launch as a mentor, joining a roster that includes Shania Twain, Fergie, Boy George, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Alessia Cara.
The show, currently being filmed in Toronto for broadcast later this year, features contestants working with songwriters and producers to create an original song in two days.
The series is being co-produced by Scott Borchetta of the Big Machine Label Group, which was aligned with American Idol during its final two seasons.
Sixx is also prepping for a 10th anniversary edition of The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, which comes out October 27.
