Foo Fighters Head To PBS
Foo Fighters has announced a notable new show to its 2017 live itinerary — and soon.
The group will perform July 10 at the historic Acropolis for PBS’s “Landmarks Live In Concert” series.
The shows are hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ drummer Chad Smith, who interviews the performers, while series creator Daniel E. Catullo says in a statement that,
“I’ve always wanted to work with Foo Fighters and do a show in Greece. Having both wishes come true in the same episode is a huge moment for me. When I first came up with the idea for the series, this is exactly what I had in mind — a legendary band playing a legendary venue. We’ve had some incredible shows so far, but this one officially sets our standard at a new level.”

No air dates have been announced for the Foos’ episode, however…Meanwhile, the Foos have revealed that Alison Mosshart of the Kills and Dead Weather is one of the guests on the group’s new album, “Concrete And Gold,” after Mosshart joined the band onstage for “La Dee Da” during its appearance at the Open’er festival in Poland.
“Concrete And Gold” comes out September 16.
