Rumor: Nikki Sixx Wanted As New ‘American Idol’ Judge
Nikki Sixx has a lot on his plate already, and a new report indicates he could be taking on yet another new job.
Per TMZ, Sixx is the desired candidate to fill the third judge’s chair on the ABC reboot of American Idol. If he were to sign on, Sixx would be joining Katy Perry and potentially Lionel Richie, who is also heavily rumored be part of the judge’s panel but not yet confirmed.
Currently, Sixx said in a Facebook post he’s working on new music with Sixx: A.M., two books, a new scripted TV show, the Netflix movie adaptation of The Dirt, a stage play adaptation of his book The Heroin Diaries and, of course, there’s always his syndicated radio show “Sixx Sense.”
So, yeah…he just has SO MUCH TIME on his hands! What a slacker! If he does sign on for American Idol, we’d love to see how Sixx interacts with Katy Perry. They truly could be the next Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
