Foo News Round-Up: New Song, Glastonbury Rider Leaked
Foo Fighters have debuted yet another song from the group’s upcoming new album.
The band performed “Sunday Rain,” sung by drummer Taylor Hawkins, during a concert in Riga, Latvia. It’s the fourth song the band has played from Concrete And Gold, which is due out September 15, joining the single “Run,” “La Dee Da” and “The Sky Is A Neighborhood.”
…Meanwhile, the Foos’ contract rider has leaked for the band’s Saturday (June 24) performance at the Glastonbury Festival in England. The group’s list of requests include Fiji water, Schwepps soda water, coconut water, Pom juice, Diet Coke, orange juice, cranberry juice, Vitamin Water, Red Bull, Gatorade, Starbucks coffee beans, organic milk, Edensoy milk, avocados, tomatoes, bananas, apples, pears, kiwi, seedless grapes, a jar of peanut butter and one dark chocolate bar — no M&M’s at all, much less no brown ones.
The Foos kick off a North American tour on October 12 with a special show opening The Anthem in Grohl’s home town of Washington, D.C.
