The unexpected feud of Ozzy Osbourne vs. Britney Spears appears to be over, sort of.

To catch everyone up: During a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, the topic of TikTok dances came up. This led Ozzy Osbourne to say, "I'm fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube." He also noted that Spears seemingly shares videos of her dancing "every f---ing day!" and that he thinks the videos are "sad, very, very sad."

These comments got back to Spears. As we previously reported, the pop star took to Instagram and shared a long text rant. She started talking about actress Kate Beckinsale and wrote, "I adore Kate Beckinsale, especially because she's from London!" She continued, "I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG [Instagram] saying she needs more age appropriate content... she's in her fifties and I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old!"

Spears added, "Not as bad as some of my comments saying it's sad that I'm as old as I am, and I'm dancing every single day on my IG!" This sentence appeared to be aimed at Ozzy's comments. To show she's definitely referring to Ozzy's comments, Spears then wrote, "I'm gonna do a photoshoot with Kate and tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f--- off!"

This then leads to Ozzy issuing an apology that also featured The Prince of Darkness still sort of criticizing Spears.

"Britney, I really owe you an apology. I'm so sorry for making that comment," said Ozzy. "However, it would be better if you didn't do the same fucking dance every day. Change a few movements… I love Britney Spears, but it's the same dance every day!"

This then led to son, Jack Osbourne, to laugh out loud and wife, Sharon Osbourne, to hold her head in her hand. (Just guessing, but Sharon probably thought, "That's not what we rehearsed before we started recording, Ozzy!")

Ozzy concluded with, "I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you're beautiful."

As of publishing, Spears hasn't commented on Ozzy's apology. In fact, her Instagram page appears to be deleted or suspended at the moment. Regardless, like The Osbournes, we wish Spears well and hope she's happy after everything she's been through in her life.

After you get thrown out of one of the most influential bands of all time, what do you do for an encore? Ozzy Osbourne was a misfit, an unusual vocalist, he didn’t play instruments or write songs in the conventional sense… so his former Black Sabbath bandmates probably didn’t see him as someone who would rival them for popularity. Surprise, surprise: Ozzy Osbourne’s long second act has been one of the most surprising and tumultuous in the history of rock and roll.

Sure, the bottom-feeding celebrity news machine loves him as a headline-generating lunatic, but the reason why we still care after all these years is the amazing discography Ozzy has amassed over the decades. Here are our 40 favorite Ozzy jams from 1980 on. As Ozzy prepares to wrap up an incredible career, we listened to everything, from the classic ‘Blizzard Of Ozz’ (every song made the list, except for Randy Rhoads’ solo guitar piece “Dee”) to the advance tracks released from ‘Ordinary Man.’
