Eddie Vedder heaped praise on pop superstar Taylor Swift and her fanbase in a new interview with Mojo.

The Pearl Jam frontman detailed his experience of attending a Taylor Swift show with one of his daughters. He talked about how much of a community Swifties were, particularly with their practice of making friendship bracelets and trading them with other fans at shows.

Vedder noted, "The craziest thing was it reminded me of punk rock crowds, of being aligned with all of the misfits in our town, back in the day. It was galvanizing and powerful."

What's Next for Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam?

Pearl Jam has an eventful 2024 ahead of them. To begin with, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band is releasing their twelfth studio album, Dark Matter, on April 19. So far, the band has released one preview of the album in the form of the title track.

The new song can be heard below and is available for streaming/download here. Meanwhile, the album is available for pre-order here. Additionally, a special edition of the album will be available on Record Store Day, which is taking place on April 20.

With a new album comes a new Pearl Jam world tour. As previously reported, the tour kicks off in May with a two-night stand in Vancouver, BC and is currently set to wrap in November in Sydney, Australia. A complete list of tour dates is below.

Eddie Vedder hasn't been as prolific with side-projects as his Pearl Jam bandmates: Stone Gossard used to have a band called Brad (R.I.P. Shawn Smith) and currently is a band called Painted Shield; he's also done solo records. Jeff Ament has been part of Three Fish, Tres Mtns. and RNDM, and has put out a bunch of solo songs. Matt Cameron's discography includes a number of projects including Hater, Wellwater Conspiracy, Harrybu McCage and Ten Commandos. Mike McCready, meanwhile, has been a member of Mad Season and the Rockfords.

Vedder, meanwhile, has just three solo albums to his name, so far: but it turns out that he has a pretty impressive discography outside of the band. He's frequently contributed songs to various artist compilations, done one-off singles, and collaborated with other artists. Here are some of our favorite Vedder moments outside of Pearl Jam.

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
