As for Happiness Bastards, the album is due out on March 15 and is available for pre-order/pre-save here. A full track listing is below.
There are clearly some high hopes and major swagger behind the LP. An announcement for the album states, "Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll."
Of course, this album was made possible thanks to the reunion of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson. Believe it or not, their initial reunion was first confirmed all the way back in November 2019. At the time, the band announced a 2020 tour where they would perform their debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, in its entirety. Due to the pandemic, that tour was delayed until Summer 2021.
When the "Shake Your Money Maker World Tour" was first announced, Chris Robinson said in a statement, "I’m thrilled and blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n’ Roll and The Black Crowes!"
Rich Robinson added, "First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made as kids, is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed."

A number of days in rock history were marked by the release of classic albums that came out on the same day.
Examples of this span a number of decades. In the 1960s, The Beatles were involved in two of these instances with The Kinks and David Bowie. The 1970s saw The Rolling Stones release an album on the same day as the Ramones said "Gabba Gabba Hey!" to the world. In the 1980s, heavy metal icons Judas Priest released a classic album on the same day Iron Maiden dropped their debut. As for the 1990s, you'll be shocked to learn just how many times classic LPs were released on the same day. By "classic LPs," we mean some of the great albums of all time.
Here are 20 times multiple classic albums came out on the same day.
