We’ve seen a lot of artists being incredibly creative during the COVID-19 pandemic, and figuring out new ways to continue promoting their music. Royal Blood is taking that to a new level. This weekend you’ll be able to catch Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher as AVATARs.
The pair will be performing their new single "Limbo" as part of an award ceremony presented by the gaming company Roblox. The Bloxy Awards will take place this Saturday, March 27th at 3 pm ET and the company claims it will “take attendees through four distinct environments on a voyage across the roblox Metaverse”. The company promises an “exclusive virtual performance from Royal Blood in a space-themed concert venue”.
