Even though KISS literally just broke records for crazy pyro displays, Gene Simmons has a serious case of fireworks envy.

During last night's Celebrating America special honoring the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, Katy Perry closed out the event by performing her hit song "Firework" while the Washington D.C. sky was filled with a stunning display of fireworks.

This caught the eye of everyone's favorite fire-spitting Demon who tweeted, "Fireworks on Celebrate America during Katey [sic] Perry's song,...Beyond amazing. The biggest Pyro I've ever seen. I'm jealous."

Once again, KISS literally just broke two Guinness World Records during their KISS 2020 Goodbye livestream concert on New Year's Eve for "highest flame projection in a music concert" and "most flame projections launched simultaneously in a music concert."

In other words: When KISS' farewell tour finally comes to a close, don't be surprised if the band takes some inspiration from Perry's performance and the hottest band in the world goes out with the biggest literal bang ever.
