A number of rock legends have been trending on Twitter today, including Robert Plant, Stevie Nicks, Geddy Lee of Rush and former Journey singer Steve Perry. Of course, when any rock legend trends on twitter, fans fear the worst.
In this case, though, all of those singers are fine. They may have started trending because of a question that Richard Marx asked on Twitter: "Who are the voices you’d describe as truly unique? That question had a large reach: Marx has over 255,000 Twitter followers. And it inspired fans to tweet about their favorite singers. And when other fans saw that those were trending, they started to tweet about them -- in many cases, without knowing why they were trending in the first place.
One fan suggested to Twitter: "Might I suggest adding 'Not Dead but Trending' in your 'What's Happening' section. Seriously, Geddy Lee, Robert Plant and Stevie Nicks all in one day."
