VIDEO: Chris Cornell Statue Unveiled
After a little over a year of preparation and planning, the commissioned Chris Cornell statue by his widow, Vicky, was finally unveiled yesterday (October 7) at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture.
Originally scheduled to take place in August but pushed back to accommodate for larger crowds, Cornell’s three children (Lillian, Toni and Christopher) did the unveiling honors, which can be seen around the 10:25 mark in the video below from local Fox affiliate Q13. Vicky Cornell also delivered a speech, which can be viewed at the 3:10 mark.
Below the video are photos of the statue via the official Twitter account for Gibson Guitars.
