Foo Fighters Acropolis Show Airing On PBS November 10
Foo Fighters have performed in a wild variety of venues in their career, but this gig in Greece was probably the most literal example of historic.
About a month ago, the band performed at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, which was filmed for the PBS series Landmarks Live in Concert, and it has been announced that the concert will air November 10.
The episode will feature not only the concert but also behind-the-scenes footage of the Foos, as well as an interview with host and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith who said of the experience, “The Acropolis hasn’t been rocked that hard in a while – maybe 2,500 years, give or take. It was an amazing experience, made extra special that I could spend it with my longtime friends, the mighty Foos.”
The preview alone is simply breathtaking. Definitely set you DVRs now!
