Nothing beats the thrill of a great roller coaster, and according to this poll, 3 of the 10 best roller coasters in the country are here in Florida. You’ll recall, some of the same readers voted Sea World as the number one amusement park in America, but Sea World’s “Mako” coaster was not voted as the best coaster. Close, but that honor goes to a park in New Jersey. It must be tough to maintain a coaster in New Jersey, having to wipe all the oil off the seats after each ride. I’ve seen a lot of “Jersey Shore”, I know how it is there. GTL

I grew up in Ohio, with Cedar Point and Kings Island both a big part of my childhood. So yeah, I was raised on “Corkscrew” and “The Beast”, so I’m well versed in coasters. If I could afford it, I’d travel and hit every one of these rides.

A panel of experts made a list of the best coasters in the US, then the 10 best were determined by popular vote. To learn more, go here.
