You know how hard it is to go back to work on the Monday after the Super Bowl, but if it was up to one Florida student he would change the day of the game and has started a petition to do just that.

18 year-old Frank Ruggeri of Palm Bay wants the game switched to a Saturday to “allow young fans to stay up late and give other fans enough time to recover from the excitement”. Others say in response to the petition that if the game remains to be played on a Sunday, that the Monday after should be a holiday.

Ruggeri also points out in the petition the benefits to the NFL saying, “It will get more money and get more visitors to the game. NFL will get more television views because most government jobs have Sunday off. It will let more children enjoy their beloved game on TV or at the venue. Most of the football playoff games are on Saturday anyway.”

So far his petition has over 83,000 signatures. To sign it, click here

Super Bowl LVI is on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
