A pantsless NYC subway rider shocked people on the public transportation system by riding with only a leather strap and chain 'cage' covering his genitals. But law enforcement says there's nothing they can do.

How does that make sense? Sounds like it doesn't quite break the law. The covering, although small, might be enough. According to The New York Post, the incident happened on an Upper East Side Q train. In the picture that's going viral, you see he is quite exposed. There's a noticeable gap in the groin where you see skin. See pictures from The New York Post here.

The New York Post says that police sources say that while his attire might be provocative it did not constitute exposing himself. People having been comparing him to a sex offender in the area but no word on if it's actually him.

As someone who used to take a subway to work, you never know what you're going to see on one of these trains. I've seen more than I've wanted to and stuff that definitely would count as exposing yourself. It was not a great sight.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
