Avelo Airlines announced Tuesday that it will keep flying its Central Florida routes through Aug. 18. Tickets start at $42 for one-way trips. The airline connects six airports in the region: Daytona Beach International Airport, Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Lakeland International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Tampa International Airport.
"It's time to start planning summer travel, and we are excited to extend Avelo's Central Florida flight schedule through August 2026," said Trevor Yealy, Head of Commercial for the company, in a press release. "With Avelo's affordable fares and industry-leading reliability, it's the perfect time for travelers to get a head start on booking their summer vacations or weekend getaways to their favorite destinations."
Flights will reach eight cities from those six airports. Passengers can fly to Atlanta, Nashville, Philadelphia/Wilmington, Charlotte/Concord, New Haven, Rochester, Wilmington, and San Juan.
The $42 price tag works for certain flights between Lakeland and Nashville. Departures run from April 21 through June 8, but you must book by Jan. 31, 2026.
Since launching on April 28, 2021, the airline has carried more than 8.8 million customers on over 70,000 flights. It now flies to 32 cities across 12 states and Puerto Rico. In 2025, Avelo ranked in the top three for on-time performance and flight cancellation rate among U.S. airlines.
