Newlywed Woman Discovers She’s Allergic To Husband’s ‘Man Juice’

A newlywed woman recently discovered that she's allergic to her husband's "man juice." Have you ever heard of anything like that happening?

This might be the first time I've ever heard of anything like this. Except for on FX's hit show The League. It happened to Andre's girlfriend. But that's just TV--and this is real life! That newlywed woman is Alex Murphy Klein and 2 years into her marriage she discovered her body was reacting to her husband Paul's DNA while trying to get pregnant. Meet the couple as they appear on This Morning below.

This is wild. I've really never heard of anything like it. I didn't know you could essentially be allergic to another person like this--let alone your spouse. Sounds like they got tests done and doctors found nothing medically wrong with either of them.

Eventually, an at-home blood test helped determine the issue was a genetic predisposition that made her immunologically incompatible with his DNA, per PEOPLE. She's now going through treatments to regulate her immune response and is several months into the process. Hopefully they can figure everything out and have that baby.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
