Belarus Woman Breaks Guinness World Record For ‘Sky Surfing’

Congratulations to the Belarus woman who just broke the Guinness World Record for Sky Surfing. I didn't even know that was a thing!

Have you ever heard of Sky Surfing? I guess it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like, I just didn't realize you could break Guinness World Records for it. Olga Naumova, a daredevil from Belarus, is very familiar with Sky Surfing as she's been doing it for the last 15 years. Now, she's broken the Guinness World Record for the highest altitude sky surf jump after jumping out of a helicopter at 20,945 feet, per UPI!

Olga tells Guinness World Records, "Since I discovered sky surfing, it was my dream to perform a very unique skydive and to inspire girls around the world not to be scared to be bold and to dream big," via UPI.

I'm scared of heights so this scares me to the bone. However, I can admit that it does look pretty cool...despite being very high up.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
