You can't keep the vehicle you test drive. Taking it home is against the rules. Accidents can happen but once you keep it for 2 days it's clear that's not the case and then destroying it with a hammer isn't going to help anything that's for sure. According to FOX 13 News, the Florida man caused roughly $20k in damages to the car. That Florida man has since been identified as 26-year-old Richel Valdivia. In addition to the damage, FOX 13 News says he also his men's underwear inside the flares of the car. What?!? You can see his mugshot provided by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office below.

According to FOX 13 News, the damage to the car included a smashed rearview mirror, a missing GPS monitor, and a detached sun visor on the driver's side. The manager of the dealership was able to get video from the car which showed Valdivia striking the car.
He was arrested and is now facing charges of grand theft or a motor vehicle and criminal mischief. Don't take your test drive home! If you do, don't destroy it!
