Too Ugly For Reality TV

We have been learning a lot about Cort over the last few months and today he revealed that he was almost on a season of 'The Real World'. What kept him out? They told him that he was "too unattractive".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Hulu's new "dating experiment" comes from the producers of 'Love Island,' and is co-hosted by the first virgin Bachelor, Colton Underwood, along with former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. Think Love Island, but for virgins. The producers of the mega-hit Peacock sensation at ITV America have teamed with Plimsoll Productions for a new unscripted reality dating competition for Hulu called Are You My First?. As the title of the series implies, the new “reality dating experiment” will bring together singles who are virgins in search of love. They will navigate “love, lust and losing it,” per the announcement."

So, we were talking about how they would know these people are actually virgins. Like, isn't it possible for a reality show to just say someone is a virgin and then like reality shows do, fake it?

Well, Cort seems to have some inside information about reality shows. He said that they have a really intense vetting process to make sure that all the contestants are telling the truth. How does he know this? He tried to make it onto a season of 'The Real World'. He didn't make it obviously and the reason is really crazy. After the interview process, the told him that he was "too unattractive". We couldn't believe it was a real thing they would say to you but he insists that it actually happened. It's has to be tough to hear. And, of course, we don't make it any better!
