West Bay Club will host its second annual Collegiate Invitational Golf Tournament from Oct. 5-7, where 12 top-100 NCAA Division I men's teams will compete in Estero, Florida.
The field includes the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles, University of Central Florida Knights, Stetson Hatters, University of Texas El Paso Miners, Eastern Michigan Eagles, DePaul Blue Devils, Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, Florida Atlantic University Owls, George Mason Patriots, Jacksonville University Dolphins, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, and Elon Phoenix.
"We're honored to welcome some of the country's most competitive programs to West Bay Club," said Danny Butts, Head Golf Professional at West Bay Club and President of the South Florida PGA Southwest Chapter, according to The Golf Wire. "The Invitational is about more than golf — it's about building connections, showcasing collegiate talent, and celebrating the role our community plays in growing the game."
Players will test their skills on West Bay Club's newly upgraded championship course. The $40 million renovation builds on the original Pete and P.B. Dye design, with Fry-Straka adding new touches to the layout.
Morgan Stanley is the tournament's main sponsor. The schedule kicks off on Oct. 5 with Collegiate/Amateur matches. Tournament play runs October 6-7, ending with a lunch and trophy presentation.
