Daniel Rotar, who goes by @ZONEofTECH on X (formerly Twitter), took to X to share his story. I didn't know stuff like this could happen. He shared, "I cannot take it off and this thing hurts" before sharing an update that you can see below.

Engadget.com reached out to Samsung for a comment and received a statement saying, "The safety of our customers is a top priority and we are in direct contact with this user to learn more about their concerns. While experiences like this are extremely rare, there are a few ways to attempt removing a stuck ring, including soap and water--or submerging your hand in cold water. If these moths do not works, additional information is provided on our Samsung Support page."
That would be a terrible reason to not make your flight and then have to pay for a hotel (and possibly hospital fees). Traveling can be frustrating and this is only one example why that's the case.
