Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July, just a few weeks after his final show with Black Sabbath. It was a heartbreaking loss to the metal community, and even though we all knew he was dealing with Parkinson's disease, it was still somewhat of a surprise, since he seemed so energetic and full of life at his final show.

Now, fellow metalheads Judas Priest have released "War Pigs - Charity Version" featuring Ozzy Osbourne. The historic version of the classic songs is available now and all profits go to to The Glenn Tipton Parkinson's Foundation and Cure Parkinson's. Tipton, a member of Judas Priest, of course has been dealing with Parkinson's disease himself, so he knows what Ozzy went through all of those years.

"This emotionally charged release unites the titans of British heavy metal one last time in a project born from friendship, mutual respect and a shared mission to fight Parkinson's disease, a cause close to the hearts of both bands," a release states of the collaboration.

Fans Are Loving This Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest Collaboration

Metalheads are loving this song. "It's a great performance and I love listening to it," one fan said of the collab on X. "Metal song of 2025," another commented. "I watched it twice tonight, it's a fantastic tribute. Truly. Incredible performance, guys," another said. Do you love it? Contact me with your thoughts on it.

So, how did this single come about? According to a release, "Initially conceived as a tribute video for Ozzy and Black Sabbath after Judas Priest were unable to join them at the Aston Villa show due to prior commitments with The Scorpions’ 60th Anniversary show in Hannover, the project quickly grew in purpose and power. When Judas Priest suggested turning the tribute into a full-blown charity single, the idea struck a chord with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne."

Tipton contributed guitars to the song, which makes it extra special. Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford and Osbourne both sing on the track, too, and the result is spectacular.

Osbourne's passing has been mourned across the music world. It was somehow fitting that he passed away just weeks after his song with his original Black Sabbath bandmates for a final concert in Birmingham on July 5, 2025, called "Back to the Beginning." The event raised funds for Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice.
