Was Michael J. Fox arrested after a hit-and-run in Illinois. Well, yes and no. Michael J. Fox was arrested just not the one you're probably thinking of.

A man named Michael J. Fox was arrested in Batavia, Illinois after being accused of fleeing law enforcement after a hit-and-run. FOX 32 Chicago says he sped away at speeds reaching 70 miles per hour before running a red light and crashing into another vehicle. 2 people were reportedly injured in the crash and Fox's blood-alcohol level was more than 3 times the legal limit, per FOX 32 Chicago. This is not the kind of PR Michael J. Fox could use right now. He's ruining the name! Check out this Michael J. Fox's mugshot below. He's probably wishing he could go back to the future right now.

FOX 32 Chicago reports that Fox is now facing several charges including 2 counts of aggravated fleeing and eluding, aggravated DUI, reckless driving, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He looks pretty out of it in his mugshot, if I do say so myself.

Warrenville Police Chief Sam Bonilla said in a statement obtained by FOX 32 Chicago, "Driving under the influence of alcohol, refusing to stop for a traffic crash, and refusing to stop for police is unacceptable behavior on our roadways, and I want to commend the Warrenville police officers for being vigilant and making every effort to protect the members of the public."

Sounds like the people injured in the crash suffered minor injuries and are expected to be okay. As for Fox, he's expected to be back in court in early September. Thankfully, this isn't the Michael J. Fox we've all grown up with and have come to love. Would hate to see him get into any trouble.
