Several people were shot during a Detroit BBQ recently and now there's an update to the story. We talked about this when it broke on Dave & Chuck The Freak.

On Tuesday, we shared a story on-air about a man who ended up firing shots at a Detroit BBQ allegedly over the music being too loud. This led to a funny conversation where we pictured Dave as a DJ at a East Detroit BBQ and what song selections he would play and how he'd fit right in. It was the Peep Show of the day on Tuesday, so make sure to give it a watch. Now, there's been an update to the story. It turns out, it wasn't over loud music at all--but was actually over a reported love triangle! This story continues to get juicier and juicier! See a video report shared by FOX 2 Detroit on YouTube below.

According to FOX 2 Detroit, the shooting at the Detroit BBQ started when a man confronted another man in a wheelchair. Four people were shot and are now recovering. I didn't see this story taking this type of turn! To me, it made sense that it was over music and I had it in my head that it was the very songs we talked about on-air! Instead, it's more dramatic than we realized!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
