A woman is going viral for having her late husband's Pittsburgh Steelers tattoo preserved after he died. That's the sign of a true fan!

They say to be careful when you get a tattoo because it will last forever--and they aren't kidding. Usually, once you die that tattoo will fade away and eventually become nothing. However, if you have it preserved properly it might actually last forever and that appears to be what this woman is hoping for. Angelica, who calls herself a "Real AF sports mom," worked with Save My Ink Forever to preserve one of her ex-husband's many tattoos--a Pittsburgh Steelers one at that. The tattoo is a combination skull and Steelers helmet which she had preserved and then framed to mount on a wall. Some people online are calling it a great tribute while others are saying it's kind of creepy. What do you think?

While on the surface, it seems like a great way to remember a lost loved one. Now you can see one of their favorite tattoos forever and have a part of them around with you at home. However, it's actually a part of him! That's his actual skin that's been preserved. Some people find it kind of creepy.

One commenter is saying that when she dies please don't remove her tattoos and preserve them. Other commenters are imagining him making it to heaven and then seeing that he's missing his favorite tattoo. That would be a shocking moment. Even a mortician commented saying that they've never heard of anything like this. I have to admit, it is very unique. Would you honor your loved one this way?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
