UPDATE: Oregon Urine Dumper Expands Pee Spree
The Oregon urine dumper is apparently expanding their pee spree! This is an update to a story we shared a while ago. You might remember us talking about an individual…

SAN FRANCISCO – MARCH 2: Recycled plastic bottles are seen at the San Francisco Recycling Center March 2, 2005 in San Francisco, California. Bottled water is the single largest growth area among all beverages, more than doubling over the last decade. Only about 12 percent of plastic bottles, mostly water, were recycled in 2003, according to industry consultant R.W. Beck, Inc. Since most bottled water is consumed away from home where recycling isn’t an option, an estimated 40 million bottles a day go into the trash or become litter. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)
The Oregon urine dumper is apparently expanding their pee spree! This is an update to a story we shared a while ago.
You might remember us talking about an individual who has been reportedly peeing in bottles and jugs of urine around the Northeast Portland, Oregon area. They then leave the jugs and bottles of pee in recycling bins. Residents have no idea where it came from--they just know it isn't theirs. Now, the urine dumper appears to be expanding their pee spree. Or are there now copycats on the loose?

According to KATU, neighbor surveillance video captured a man making the dump in the middle of the night several times in recent months. However, the area of the dumps is seemingly expanding. It's now reached the suburbs.
It seems like the dumper has almost been caught a couple of times. Local resident Trish Bellingham tells KATU, "I work out of the front window of my office, waiting for the trash to be picked up. And a white car pulled up, came across this side of the road, facing west. [The driver] had his window down and he opened up my yard debris can, just a little, and I saw him put something in. So, I stood up and yelled to him. He looked at me and closed the lid and casually drove off." She ended up finding 2 bottles of urine inside the can.
The Beaverton Police Department is aware of the situation and it is considered ongoing.
