COLUMBUS, OH – JULY 31: Customers enjoy a last round of drinks at a bar in the Short North District on July 31, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned that the midwest is the next hot bed for coronavirus infections in a recent press briefing. Governor Mike DeWine issued a Statewide order for restaurants and bars to stop serving alcohol effective at 10pm. Was a restaurant customer charged extra for complaining? That's what it looks like on a receipt that's now going viral online.

First, you can't trust everything you see online. There's a lot of fake stuff out there created just to get you to react and so it can go viral. You'd be surprised how many of your favorite videos are all fake and set-up. So, this might not be real but so far there's no indication that it's a fake, you just never know. There's a restaurant receipt going viral that appears to show an extra $5 charge that's labeled as a "b****ing fee." Have you ever heard of that before? Can you really be charged extra for complaining? Check out the viral Reddit post below. What do you think?

Can You Be Charged Extra For Complaining?

According to the Reddit post, it sounds like the customer received the extra charge after complaining that they received the wrong beer order? I can understand that you might voice a concern when that happens, but do you have to be charged for it? Clearly, there's more to this story that we aren't aware of.

Via the Reddit post, the customer said, "I ordered a Miller Lite and she [the sever] gave me a Bud Light. But since she had already opened the Bud Light while walking towards my table she couldn't just swap it out," via The New York Post. The customer claims he hardly even complained, just brought it to her attention.

Could it have just been a joke the server wrote on there to the bartender or someone thinking it would be deleted or go unseen? Was it on there intentionally? Are there really b****ing fees and can you be charged extra for complaining? So many questions that remain unanswered.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
